- ➤ Ahead of School Choice Week, Governor Greg Gianforte announced in Helena that Montana has opted in to a federal tax credit scholarship program. Donors can claim a nonrefundable tax credit of up to $1,700 for contributions to approved K-12 scholarship organizations starting January 1, 2027 — credits available until the statewide cap is reached.
