- ➤ GasBuddy reported that for the fifth week in 2026, gas prices fell in Montana as most Missoula stations set rates at about $2.69 per gallon on Monday + statewide averages dropped 1.2 cents to $2.70, compared with the national average of $2.83. Newstalk KGVO
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Missoula County approved a $21,000 contract with DJA and will repair the Sunset Hill bridge near Greenough this spring using a heat straightening process, with a total repair cost around $40,000. The Montana Department of Transportation closed the bridge last September due to structural deformation. KPAX
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Hellgate Elementary and Victor schools are offering free trigger and cable locks as part of a Safe Storage Campaign to promote gun safety and help reduce the risk of youth suicide; the locks are available to any adult until Feb. 23. KPAX
