CULTURE NEWS

  • Pine Creek Lodge in Paradise Valley has announced its 2026 concert lineup featuring local bands and national touring acts. The venue (a favorite spot for music lovers) will host summer shows that invite fans to experience live music in a stunning setting.  Newstalk KGVO
  • Survivor is hosting a fan challenge in Montana as its 50th season celebrates with a hidden immunity idol hunt. A clue will be revealed online Tuesday at 1 p.m. and the hunt opens to all Thursday, offering one finder a seat at the live finale in May.  KPAX

ECONOMY NEWS

  • Gas prices in Montana rose by 0.7¢ per gallon on Monday, Feb. 9, with the average at $2.70, which is 3.9¢ lower than last month and 29.0¢ lower than a year ago. The cheapest station was $2.52 while the priciest was $3.05.  KPAX

ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • Authorities remind hikers that most of Mount Jumbo is closed to protect wildlife (violators may face fines up to $500) while two trails stay open from the Cherry Street Trailhead.  Missoula Current

  • Holland Lake Lodge owners are seeking a health code variance to use holding tanks for wastewater (a temporary measure until the Forest Service replaces the lagoons) and a meeting at 12:15 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 19 will review if the plan meets public health and safety criteria.  MontanaRightNow
