  • Missoula city and rural firefighters climbed the stairs at The PEAK Blue Mountain on Wednesday to raise funds for Blood Cancer United & raffled off prizes from local businesses. Raffle winners will be announced Monday, Feb. 23 when donations continue to be accepted at PEAK Service Desks.  KPAX
  • Firefighters from Missoula Fire Department and Missoula Rural Fire are climbing stairs at PEAK Health and Wellness's Blue Mountain today to raise money for blood cancer research, with raffle prizes, music, and community participation until 6:00 p.m.  MontanaRightNow

  • Montana Stockgrowers Association is urging federal lawmakers to expand the H-2A program so foreign workers can help at feedlots and livestock auction markets — a change meant to ease the ongoing labor shortage for cattle operations.  Montana Public Radio

  • UM reported a 3% increase during the Spring census, bringing enrollment to over 11,000 students; Vice President Leslie Webb said robust campus initiatives helped keep enrollment afloat & the university is preparing to welcome more first-year students next fall.  Newstalk KGVO

  • Gov. Gianforte praised Montana's fire response during the 2025 fire season on Wednesday, noting that the DNRC & Conservation kept 94% of wildfires on state-protected land at or below 10 acres, which safeguarded billions in property value.  KPAX
