  • A new collectible shop, Bricks & Minifigs, is opening on Saturday, March 28 at 1525 South Russell and offering rare and retired LEGO sets, minifigs, bulk bricks, and options for buying, selling, and trading. EDUCATION NEWS

  • Nursing students at Missoula College took part in a patient care simulation Friday where a manikin simulated trauma cases such as sepsis and severe diabetic reactions. The exercise, involving 12 students (the entire cohort), will continue Saturday to help prepare them for clinical roles before graduating in August.  KPAX

  • Local climate advocates call on residents to join the Stand Up For Science rally on March 7 at 1:00 p.m. (Missoula County Courthouse) and to submit comments on the NorthWestern Energy IRP by March 12 to demand cleaner air and reliable energy for the community.  Missoula Current

  • Bridger Pipeline Expansion LLC submitted a project overview to DEQ outlining plans for a 645-mile pipeline that runs from near the Canadian border through several counties. The company plans to file its Major Facility Siting Act application soon and, if approved, construction can begin as early as 2027.  KPAX
  • Four wildlife groups sued the Forest Service in Missoula federal district court over a Forest Plan Amendment that cuts lynx protection from over 1 million acres in Beaverhead Deerlodge Forest and limits public comment, arguing the changes ignore best science for lynx recovery + may harm other species.  Missoula Current

  • Montana homeowners have until March 20 to apply for reduced property tax rates after technical issues slowed the state’s online filing system — officials say the extension prevents penalties from last-minute submissions.  Missoula Current
  • Hunting and fishing licenses for 2026 will be on sale this Sunday, March 1 as Montana Fish, Wildlife, and Parks reduces nonresident deer licenses by 2,500 to curb overhunting and adjusts resident deer permits. These changes aim to better manage the state's wildlife.  MontanaRightNow

  • Missoula's housing market stabilized in 2025 as median prices fell by 2.2% to $550,000 and sales rose to 1,029 units, showing a modest correction from previous years. Analysts noted rising supply + falling interest rates boosted buyer activity across several neighborhoods.  Missoula Current
