- ➤ Missoula-based Hope Rescue Mission will close its 18-month women's recovery center by Aug. 1 due to budget constraints — the nonprofit will continue street-to-shelter work with housing, classes and Friday sandwich distributions under Beartracks Bridge. KPAX
- ➤ Missoula County approved the Human Resource Council's grant application on Tuesday to continue funding community programs—housing assistance, childcare, job training, and literacy classes. - ➤ Wilbur, a puppy from a local litter, was featured at Take Me Home Tuesday at the Humane Society of Western Montana and awaits adoption.
