- ➤ The ZEST event hosted by ZACC raised over $92K to support local arts programs—$17,778 went to artists and $19,492 to small businesses. - ➤ The 2025 Western Montana Corgi Derby will be held on May 3 at Missoula Dornblaser Track—registration costs $10 per family with admission at $5 per person or $10 for groups. - ➤ Missoula County signed an agreement with the Museum of Life and Sciences to launch a one-day heat monitoring campaign over 100 square miles later this year—an effort backed by a $10,000 stipend for volunteer incentives, food and water. - ➤ Yesterday, the Land Use & Planning Committee approved a proposal to amend a 2019 development agreement for a parcel off Mullan Road that would allow a 172-unit senior community with a cap of 40 feet on building height & include a $178,000 payment into the Affordable Housing Trust Fund.
