  • MCSO said that 39‑year‑old Megan Babbitts, last seen Friday morning at her Missoula home, was reported missing just before 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 26, and her car was found near the Quartz Flats rest area on Interstate 90—her body was later recovered from the Clark Fork River at about 4:30 p.m.  MontanaRightNow
  • A Thompson Falls U.S. Forest Service employee admitted to falsifying his time card on April 22 and now may face up to 10 years in prison—sentencing on August 27 follows GPS data showing his work vehicle stayed at home during his shifts, costing nearly $18,645 in government funds.  Newstalk KGVO

  • A traveling arts program called ZACC Tracks is offering a free two-week after school camp for kids in 4th through 12th grade to form bands and create art in rural and Indigenous communities in western Montana.
