- ➤ The Missoula Police Department released its 2024 Annual Report on May 1, which showed a 9.9% drop in felony violent crimes even as overall incidents rose 5.5% — the report credits the new Axon digital evidence system, enhanced training and a stronger fentanyl interdiction effort that led to a 112% jump in seized dosage units. - ➤ A Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks warden stopped a driver near Anaconda for bypassing three watercraft inspection stations while towing a mussel-fouled tugboat that had been out of the water for two days.
