ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • The House passed a bill that changes clean energy tax credits—and it is expected to raise energy costs and slow investment in clean projects, Tim Miller said. He urged the Senate to use careful changes—protecting these credits to support jobs and local funding.  Missoula Current

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • The Montana Supreme Court ruled in a 4-3 decision on Thursday that judges must award court fees to plaintiffs who win right-to-know cases against the state, strengthening a key Constitutional right. The decision followed a suit brought by MEIC and Earthworks that forced the Governor’s Office to release documents on a state enforcement matter.  Missoula Current
