GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • A new audit report shows that Montana landowners have paid only 10% of wildfire costs—leaving at least $30 million subsidized—based on a funding formula from 1958. • City Council on Wednesday voted to remove the daycare facility clause from the contract for the Scott Street development—officials said the cost and location did not fit the current budget. The project will still provide 47 income-qualified homes, a park, and vital infrastructure—aiming to deliver affordable ownership opportunities despite the change.  Missoula Current

HEALTH NEWS

  • Two leading Montana behavioral health providers have announced a merger to expand access to care—especially in rural areas—and improve service efficiency for 12,000 clients statewide.
