  • A mother-daughter duo has run Lazy Sousa Ranch west of Missoula since 1982 where they raise Tennessee Walking Horses and about 50 Highland cows. Crews are cleaning the marathon route for next Sunday (expecting 1,000 pounds of trash) and Flathead Electric Cooperative will cut power for five minutes in Lakeside today at 9:00 a.m. and on Thursday at 3:00 p.m. affecting 2,900 customers.  KPAX

  • Walmart will remove its self-checkout machines from stores nationwide including in Montana due to theft concerns— the chain plans to switch to a Scan & Go system that lets customers pay on their phones— and local shoppers may need to adjust to the new way to check out.  Newstalk KGVO

  • At Missoula College’s state-of-the-art Cadaver Lab on the fourth floor, No. 817—a 72-year-old Montana woman whose donated body aids learning—teaches anatomy, physiology, and related subjects to hundreds of college and high school students.
