- ➤ Haley Tate, a Missoula local crowned Miss Montana on July 1 in Butte and the first from Missoula since 2014 as well as the oldest titleholder at 25, will head to Orlando in September to compete for the Miss America crown—her winning monologue recalled how she supported her mother through breast cancer treatment and set the stage for her future career as a physician assistant.
