- ➤ Missoula’s Just Response plans to create a family justice center that will combine services for domestic violence, child abuse, and sexual assault victims — using a $700,000 federal grant to fund an advisor from Alliance for Hope to assess community readiness. - ➤ Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks reported that the estimated wolf population dropped slightly in 2024 and will propose new hunting and trapping rules to lower the number to 450; the agency plans to increase the quota to 500—raising the allowed kills per license in select regions.
