- ➤ Jill Bonny, executive director of the Poverello Center, said that when the Johnson Street Shelter closes at the end of August it will remove over 170 beds and force more people to seek help at its West Broadway location this fall. - ➤ Missoula Police responded on July 12 at 9:30 p.m. to a disturbance on W Kent Ave when 18-year-old Dallas Heinrich reportedly brandished what appeared to be a black handgun—multiple witnesses saw him draw the weapon and he was later arrested on felony assault with a weapon and tampering with evidence charges with a bond set at $25,000. - ➤ A Missoula man was sentenced Monday to five years in prison—he faced charges for car theft, DUI and a gun threat at Winco—and will serve 10 years of probation for offenses committed over the past year. Missoulian
