U.S. Marshals are seeking two dangerous fugitives in Montana—David Earl Burgert, Jr., wanted for firing on deputies and violating his release conditions, and Jesse Allen Pearson, accused of breaking his supervised release after a firearm conviction—and urge anyone who sees them to call local law enforcement at 911.

After Saturday night's thunderstorms, firefighters confirmed 10 new lightning-caused fires in Bitterroot National Forest, with five under control and over 500 lightning strikes recorded across the area.

Crews from Lolo and Bitterroot worked at multiple sites (ranging from 0.1 to 4.5 acres) to improve fire-lines and mop up the blazes.
