  • A Montana district court judge heard over two hours of arguments on whether DEQ or the citizen Board of Environmental Review followed state law when setting a new selenium standard for Lake Koocanusa—attorneys from conservation groups and industry groups debated if the rule is more or less stringent than federal guidelines.  Missoula Current

HEALTH NEWS

  • Health officials confirmed the first detection of West Nile virus in Montana this year after four mosquito pools tested positive in Lewis and Clark and Cascade counties, and cases were also reported among horses east of the Continental Divide.
