  • Missoula Police issued a Missing Endangered Person Advisory for 16-year-old Lyza Rose Gersitz-McClain after reports show she and a male juvenile are headed to Rathdrum, Idaho in a 1997 Tan GMC Sierra with a personalized plate TH3DUCK—anyone with information should contact the department immediately.  KPAX

  • Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks launched its third bear relocation dashboard last week to show where 14 bears (six grizzlies and eight black bears) have been moved, helping people and landowners stay informed. The new tool provides a clear view of bear management practices — an important step as bear numbers and spreads change across the state.  Missoula Current
  • Montana FWP has released a new Bear Relocation Dashboard that maps bear relocations to show species, reasons, and dates—helping local landowners track wildlife management efforts as bear numbers rise.   • Missoula Commissioner Slotnick joined 70 elected officials and top city administrators in a three-week Harvard leadership summit and said the county needs more tools to tackle local challenges. He plans to bring the new ideas to upcoming county meetings.  Missoulian
  • Montana hunters are watching a legal battle that will soon be heard by the U.S. Supreme Court after billionaire Fred Eshleman lost rulings in Wyoming on public land access & has filed an appeal.
