- ➤ After a week-long manhunt, Michael Paul Brown—the suspect in the shooting deaths at the *Owl Bar* in Anaconda—was arrested near Ranch Bar just south of Highway 1 on Friday and is now held at Butte-Silver Bow Detention Center. Missoula Current

- ➤ The University of Montana was named one of the Peace Corps' Top Volunteer-Producing Colleges among medium-sized schools and has led in community and national service for three years in a row — a sign of its strong public service tradition.
