ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Three groups—Upper Missouri Waterkeeper, Alliance for the Wild Rockies, and Save the Bull Trout—filed a lawsuit in Lewis and Clark County court last week against Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks for not enforcing instream water rights as river flows dropped during a multi-year drought, putting fish at risk. The suit claims that FWP’s failure to make water calls violates Montana water law and the public trust, and the groups seek to have the agency suspend its call protocol. Missoula Current
GOVERNMENT NEWS

- ➤ Healthcare leaders in Montana say new Medicaid work requirements will add a lot of paperwork and may force people to lose coverage when rechecks start in January—this change could cause delays and problems for low-income patients.
