- ➤ Missoula police are searching for 20-year-old Isabella Cruz who was last seen at 4:40 p.m. August 27 on the 800 block of Charlo Street as she left home amid concerns about her mental health and lack of medication—anyone with information is urged to call 406-552-6300 or 911. KPAX
ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ A report from the University of Montana’s Bureau of Business and Economic Research showed that Grizzly athletics made nearly $100 million a year for Missoula’s economy — the money came from spending at sports events. The study found each home football game brought over $5 million to local businesses — and that the spending helped support 728 local jobs. Newstalk KGVO

- ➤ Shawn Knopp, a long-time Missoula resident and former Montana Glass salesperson, is running for mayor for the third time to fight steep property tax increases and reform urban renewal districts—he said he will meet with every department head on day one and streamline permitting processes to lower costs for residents. - ➤ Developer Chris Kemmerly of Miramonte Companies will build 28 single-family homes as the first phase on 13.5 acres near Southgate Mall—he plans further mixed-use development with commercial space, rental units, and a community park under a public planning process.
