EDUCATION NEWS

ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • Trout Unlimited and the Forest Service are restoring a half-mile segment of Lolo Creek by reconnecting its natural floodplain and returning its water flow to a historic channel—this work aims to improve fish habitat and water retention. Work began on July 1 and it will finish by early October with a cost of about $400,000 from federal funding and partner contributions.  Missoulian

  • Montana celebrated 20 years of the Clean Indoor Air Act after lawmakers updated the law to include vapes and protect health in workplaces, bars and restaurants—an action that shows both sides worked together.   • The City Council reviewed Paisley Park, a proposed subdivision on 40 acres at the intersection of England Boulevard and Chuckwagon Drive that will eventually include 671 dwelling units on 100 lots in eight phases over 20 years. City planners and developers said the project—owned by OO Land Holdings LLC—requires annexation and updated transportation improvements to support Missoula’s westward growth.  KPAX

  • The City Council reviewed today the Paisley Park subdivision proposal—a 40-acre project at England Boulevard and Chuckwagon Drive that will add 671 dwelling units in eight phases over the next 20 years.
