Montana defeated Idaho State 42-38 on Oct.
4 in Pocatello—Michael Wortham scored the go-ahead touchdown after a trick play that kept the Grizzlies in control. The win marked Montana’s 16th straight victory over the Bengals and improved their record to 5-0 overall and 2-0 in Big Sky play while Idaho State fell to 3-3.
On Saturday, Missoula fans gathered at Red's Bar to cheer on the Montana Grizzlies who beat the Idaho State Bengals 42-38 in their first road game in Pocatello—regulars have kept this tradition alive for about 20 years.
Bartender Alliah Nelson, once part of the Spirit Squad, served fans and boosted the game day energy.
