  • Montana rabbis have urged neighbors to support peaceful dialogue and respectful education as they condemn rising hate and violence, including a hate attack in Missoula on October 7—calling for clear distinctions between criticism of policy and antisemitism.   • US Army veteran Chris Grudzinski enjoyed a dream hunt in southwestern Montana using a moose tag donated by fellow veteran Steve Earle through the Purple Heart program — he is now preparing to bring 300 pounds of moose meat to Missoula for Earle and other veterans.  KPAX
  • Today, experts predict a weak La Niña will bring cold, wet weather with more storms through December while Glacier National Park announced the Going-to-Sun Road will be closed for the winter.   • USPS is upgrading post office lobbies in Montana with self-service kiosks, smart lockers — and digital information displays to help cut wait times as part of its long-range plan.   • An addiction counselor in Missoula warned that crypto casino apps can trigger the brain to release strong dopamine surges similar to drugs or alcohol—making these games risky for teens.
