ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • Fire departments from Hamilton, Corvallis, Darby and Pinesdale responded to a fire that started from a burn pile and spread to vehicles and a log deck on Sunday around 8:30 a.m. near McCarthy Loop south of Hamilton—officials closed the road for several hours—before reopening the area as safe.  KPAX

ECONOMY NEWS

  • Stores across Montana sold out all 620,000 Montana Millionaire tickets on Saturday morning when they went on sale at 5:30 a.m., with cashiers noting many instant winners—while a drawing for the grand prize will take place one day after Christmas.  KPAX

SPORTS NEWS

  • On Saturday, the Montana Grizzlies ended a long drought with a 38 to 17 road win over the Weber State Wildcats in Ogden, Utah—marking their first win in Ogden since 2012.
