  • Missoula will host a series of Veterans Day events to honor local veterans, with American Legion Post 27 hosting a breakfast at 825 Ronan Street from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and VFW Missoula offering breakfast burritos ahead of the 99th ceremony at the Missoula County Courthouse’s Doughboy Statue starting at 11:00 a.m.—veterans are encouraged to wear service-related attire.  MontanaRightNow

SPORTS NEWS

  • OddPitch Brewing hosted Montana’s largest pinball tournament, the Garden City Gauntlet, last weekend with about 40 players from across the state and out-of-state joining two days of nonstop play on 19 machines while plans to expand the event were announced.  KPAX
  • The Montana Grizzlies beat Weber State 4-2 in a shootout to secure the Big Sky tournament title – marking their second shootout win in as many tourney games.  Missoulian
  • The No. 2 Griz defeated Eastern Washington 29-24 on Saturday—keeping their record at 10-0 and 6-0 in Big Sky play—after a slow second half put their skills to the test.  Missoula Current
