ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Families in Broadwater County grieve over lives lost on Highway 287 near Silos Rd and say lower speed limits and road safety studies are needed to reduce fatal crashes. The Montana Department of Transportation will review speed studies and road work, and a $15—20 million plan to widen a five-mile stretch is slated for 2029, which some hope will give drivers more time to react. - ➤ Restoration work at Lost Horse Creek in the Bitterroot Mountains faced delays after federal cuts cancelled $900,000 in funding and postponed contractor bids.
