- ➤ Young Farmers and Ranchers hosted the Hoofin’ It For Hunger race and presented an $8,000 check at the Food Bank Network’s new Missoula warehouse, raising their total contributions since 2011 to more than $104,500. - ➤ Hallmark released a new Montana film titled A Royal Montana Christmas that follows Princess Victoria as she escapes royal duties for a peaceful visit to (Peaceful Pines Ranch) where she meets local guide Huntley Blaylock in a story filled with holiday charm. It premiered as part of the Hallmark Countdown to Christmas on October 17 with nearly 80 hours of new holiday programming. Newstalk KGVO

- ➤ Missoula County leaders will launch an online survey this week asking residents for input on managing feral horses that have increasingly wandered near homes along Miller Creek (with reports of safety issues including children being kicked and traffic accidents), and the county will consider feedback for new measures by early 2026.
