Join Home ReSource for our free October Lunch & Learn on Wednesday, November 18, from 12:00–1:00 PM , featuring The WestSlope Chapter of Trout Unlimited, and organization dedicated to conserving, protecting, and restoring western Montana’s cold-water fisheries and watersheds.

Scott Mylnechuk – President of the WestSlope Chapter – will highlight the work happening right here in western Montana, why healthy watersheds are essential to sustainable communities, and simple ways individuals can help protect the rivers and landscapes we all enjoy.

We’ll also explore some of the challenges facing our local watersheds from changing water temperatures and low flows to development and increasing demands on our natural resources, and how conservation groups, local partners, and individuals can work together to address them. We’ll share examples of projects WestSlope supports and ways people can turn an interest in sustainability into meaningful action in their own community.
