Questions about property taxes: My Missoula property taxes doubled to nearly $10,000.

“My folks live in Kalispell in a home that has a tax value of $100,000 more than mine. Their property taxes? $3,600. How?! Has anyone disputed a property tax assessment, if so, how did it go? I am a native Missoulian and while it would break my heart, I am seriously considering moving to a less expensive community.”
