Stuff the Bus - Beat the Bobcats: A Can the Cats Event

About this event

Join us for Stuff the Bus, the largest single-day event of the Can the Cats Food Drive! On November 14th, you can help beat the Bobcats and fight hunger here in Missoula by donating food or funds at grocery stores across town.

As you shop, pick up a few extra nonperishable items or make a cash donation on your way out. Teams of volunteers will be stationed at each store to collect your donation and load them onto buses until they're packed full of nourishment for our community.

Each year, UM and MSU communities compete to see who can raise the most food and funds for their local food bank. Last year, UM took the win, raising over 1 million lbs and dollars of food. Help us bring home the gold again! All Can the Cats donations go to the UM Food Pantry and Missoula Food Bank & Community Center, which serves 1 in 5 Missoulians - nearly 25,000 individuals and 7,500 households. The competition runs November 7th - November 21st.
