- ➤ Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks is hosting a lifejacket donation drive from May 19th to May 23rd (during National Safe Boating Week) to restock community loaner stations. Donated lifejackets (if they meet U.S. Coast Guard standards) will be cleaned and distributed to help keep water recreation safe. Newstalk KGVO
- ➤ Missoula residents enjoyed a bright new look as 150 flower baskets were installed on Beartracks Bridge and along downtown streetlights, extending a long-held spring tradition. - ➤ Marine turned University of Montana grizzly researcher Tanner Liermann will earn his degree this Saturday from the Adams Center as one of 1,800 graduates in the class of 2025 — he served as a Marine before beginning his research on grizzly bears. Missoulian
- ➤ On May 10, more than 1,000 students graduated from the University of Montana at the Adams Center—graduates earned degrees in subjects like forestry, education, business and journalism. Master’s and doctoral candidates were also honored for their hard work. KPAX
