What is it? We will provide several training exercises aimed at developing orienteering skills, such as reading contours, following a compass bearing, orienteering at speed, selecting and planning route choices, etc. There will be several exercises available when you arrive, offered at multiple levels of difficulty. You can do them at your own speed, in any order. We will also offer guided walkthroughs of sections of courses: one at an Advanced Beginner - Intermediate difficulty level and another at an Intermediate - Advanced difficulty level.
Who is this for? This is for anyone who is looking to improve their orienteering skills and who has completed at least an Advanced Beginner course on their own. This training day is FREE for GrizO members. You can become a member here .
Even though this training day is free, we ask that you register ahead of time, as the number of participant slots is limited.
